What is CES 2022?
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the biggest tech event on the planet and happens on a yearly basis in Las Vegas. Brands from across the globe showcase their new developments (both hardware and software) that will be released in the near future.
This year, CES 2022 took place in Las Vegas from January 5 to January 8, 2022. The event took place both at the Vegas location and on digital platforms, owing to the COVID scenario. I couldn’t make it to the CES 2022 in Vegas but have been following all the concepts and products unveiled at the event.

Alienware made its flagship m15 and m17 gaming laptops slimmer and sleeker with the x15 and x17 last year. They definitely look better, but I didn’t think the slight reduction in thickness was worth sacrificing some performance, and the X-Series versions were actually a little heavier, so they didn’t make the laptops much more portable.
Now, enter the x14. This combo has grabbed our interest because a leaner, sleeker redesign suits a compact 14-inch chassis far better than a 15 or 17-inch system. The 3.96-pound chassis is 0.57-inch thick, making it significantly more portable.

The Dell XPS 13 is one of my favorite premium laptops since it has a wonderful design, good features, and a price that’s comparable to the MacBook Air. The XPS 13 Plus, a new premium model, goes for a “minimalist and modern” appearance.
Instead of physical function buttons, a touch-sensitive strip may now switch between Fn and media control keys. On both of those, I’m keeping an open mind. They appear to be cool, yet they may be impractical.
